The company EKONOX, s.r.o., with the registered office in Pardubice, was registered in the Companies Register on 1 March 1994. The company’s founder was M.Sc. Jiří Švachula, app. Ph.D., who is its Executive till these days at the same time.
The company’s name has been derived from connection of two words – EKO and NOx. As both abbreviations suggest, ecological reduction of nitrogen oxides emissions was concerned. The issues of NOx emissions belonged to the basic company’s activity in the time of its foundation.
Two years after the company’s recording in the Companies Register, the first significant company’s development occurred. The team was enriched by new employees, who, thanks to their knowledge in various areas of the environment, extended the sphere of activity of the company EKONOX, s.r.o. Increase in the number of the employees lead to establishing of new office premises in the hotel complex Harmony.
With regard to significant growth in legislation in all components of the environment in the end of the ninetieth, extension of the work team occurred again as the consequence of improving the quality and increased amount of the services being provided. This tendency has been outlasting till present days. The work team is being enriched all the time with new experts for the given environmental areas.
In consequence of the increasing number of employees and the already unsatisfactory office premises, the company’s registered office in V Ráji Street was established, which enables further company’s development.
At present EKONOX, s.r.o. belongs to significant partners in the environmental area, being acknowledged not only by its colleagues and clients, but also by the state administration bodies at all levels.
