Integrated pollution prevention and control
On 1 January 2003 Act No. 76/2002 Coll. on Integrated Pollution Prevention and Control, on the Integrated Pollution Register and on amendment to some laws came into force.
The purpose of the act is, in accordance with the EC law, to achieve high level of protection of the environment as a whole, to ensure integrated public administration performance when permitting operation of the installations.
The company EKONOX, s.r.o. is recorded in the list of authorized persons in accordance with section 6 of Act No. 76/2002 Coll., as amended – for assessing of applications for the regional authorities in categories 1.1 and 3.3, and in other working groups related to the Act on Integrated Pollution Prevention and Control (link – about the company).
The company ensured translation of three BREF reference documents for the Ministry of Industry and Trade – Special Inorganic Chemicals, Polymers and Emissions from Storage, and in 2007 it participated in comments to a specimen of an application for the issuance of the integrated permit for the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Ministry of the Environment for category 1.1.
